Colgate-Palmolive recalled 4.9 million bottles of Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaners

 In May 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Kansas and Missouri Departments of Agriculture ordered 17 grocery stores in the Kansas City area to stop selling certain Fabuloso household disinfectants. 

In February 2023, Colgate-Palmolive recalled 4.9 million bottles of Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaners due to the risk of exposure to bacteria: 

• The recalled products were produced between December 14, 2022 and January 23, 2023. 
• The lot codes of the recalled products start with 2348US78 through 2365US78 and 3001US78 through 3023US78. 
• The lot code is located on the back of the bottle above the label. 
• The recall did not include Fabuloso Antibacterial variants or other Fabuloso products.
